We LOVE feeleez at our home. We have had the poster hanging for over 2
weeks now and it has altered the way our whole house communicates. Our
daughter, Harper is 3 (almost 4) and has been really struggling with
her emotions, outbursts of frustration, and sometimes just screaming.
This tool has helped us be able to communicate with her in those very
moments.
We are using it for sibling issues, bickering, and even my partner and
I are using it to identify with each other (especially in the moments
when we are at really overwhelmed trying to help Harper). Our son is 7
and he loves using it, too, and initiates it with us or with his
sister when he is not feeling understood.
I bought the game for a friend and will be ordering it for us and my
sister's family, too!
But just wanted to say we are in LOVE with the concept of it all. We
are both in education and are finding really important ways to
introduce it to our colleagues and students. The whole key is the
faces without the predetermined labels/emotions!
Our only wish--is that we had a little laminated, fold out version of
the poster for travel...as we are about to leave our home for 5
days:) Just a thought....
Peace,
Keely & Curt
PS. we also LOVE your blogs!!! and anxiously await a new post. we have
shared with some many others, too.
